How I teach
By keeping the classes small, it gives me the chance to look after you.
I am very much hands-on to help you understand where and how your body needs to move. Because the Pilates discipline concentrates on the deeper muscles it sometimes takes a moment to discover those.
I will demonstrate the movement, but then walk around to help you achieve the correct posture.
I always explain why you are doing this movement, what benefit it will give you.
I always teach through the various levels of ability to give you the choice of how far you want to push yourself.
Pilates ranges from gentle, precise movements to challenging, precise movements.
Pilates exercises will have to be carried out on a regular basis for you to improve and not to lose the toning you have achieved.
